Not the greatest video in the world, but it catches what took forever for me to see. Carolyn kept telling me things like, "My belly was bulging like a little foot was kicking on the inside" or "I was in a meeting and So-and-so just saw my belly pulse out!"

Yeah, we're about 5 weeks late posting this video, but thought you might be interested anyways. At this point in the baby's development, you can tell the gender of the baby. Feel free to try to guess yourself based on what you see and what the doc says. *shrug*

I've been a little slow with these video updates. This video (1:21 minutes) here is already two weeks past. A few clips showing how big the baby is now. Amazing at how a baby grows so fast. At this point in time, the baby has grown THREE times bigger over the course of only 2 weeks. If I grew 3x in two weeks I'd be ginormous. Watching the video makes me wonder how the baby knows what to do right now. Its arms and legs are moving around as it waits to be born in about 26 weeks from today. I wish I had a bigger vocabulary because "amazing" seems to lose its meaning each time we see the baby grow.

Watching last week's "The Office" reminded me of a conversation that Ricky and I have had several times. It's eerily similar, almost verbatim. In the end, people may have tried to call me "Jimothy" before. I don't think it stuck.

Ever since getting an iPhone 3GS, I'm starting to see the greatness of videos. I've dabbled in still photography for so long that I haven't necessarily appreciated the beauty (and difficulty!) of making good videos. I can see the challenge in creating with a medium that deals both with the visual and the audial. I wouldn't mind getting into filming, but I'd feel like I was turning my back on still photography.

Here's a video of Tyler Blackwell hiding under a box. I decided to splice in some sound effects from one of my favorite video games (begin nerd comments)...

A few weeks ago we were at Alex and Teresa's for dinner. At one point in the evenng, someone gave James the idea to feed the dog, Beni, by hand. So for about 10 minutes he just kept feeding Beni while everyone watched intrigued.

I totally had one of these when I was nine. I begged my mom for one, and she wouldn't buy it for me. But then my grandpa came into town and I got one at the Target off of 290 and South Lamar:) It was the greatest. Janice and I would fight over who got to play it. Zoom forward 20 years, and we still fight over who gets to play the DS. Fortunately, that was eventually solved by buying separate DS handhelds:)

I take stuff apart, I put it back together.
In between, I take photographs of it.
