Bikes
Why can't I have cheap hobbies? Why do my previous interests have to be in cars, electronics, video games, guitars, and stuff that doesn't come free/cheap? For once I wish I could be interested in something like... leaf collecting, or... birdwatching. Something that doesn't really require money to get involved in the interest.
Contrary to what I said in my earlier post, I went bike shopping today. Test riding a few bikes I was made even more aware how the right bike can make you go fast. The salesman at Bicycle Sport Shop went with me on a small ride around the neighborhood and I tested out the Specialized Allez Compact and the Trek 1.2. A few days ago I rode a bike to school. It was a lot easier than I thought it would be.
Anyways, I'm in the market for a bike these days. If there is one that happens to be free/cheap, well even better.
