Well, it's true. We're officially looking for a new place to live now. Our lease with our landlord will be up at the end of January as they decided they weren't going to rent out their place anymore. Instead their daughter(s) will live here beginning February 1. As we were month-to-month with our landlord anyways, either party was able to end the lease with only 30-days notice which is what we got. I admit the transition is going to be tough, especially as we'll be picking up the last 1.5 years here at the Suplex and moving everything to another place in less than 3 weeks. But the more I think about it, the more excited (and nervous) I get about seeing what God will do next as we continue preparing for parenthood and all that that entails.

In some ways I feel like I've gotten too familiar with life. Usually when that happens, I get too comfortable and don't feel the need to trust God as much. But lately I've been praying a lot more and that's a good thing. I've also been reading through the book of Genesis. I see how these men and women after creation trusted the Lord to provide them with what was good... no matter the circumstance. And I know I have to do the same. My friend reminded me yesterday that the same God who is our Redeemer through Christ, is also our Provider of all things.

So bring it on, 2010!
