Going Back to Where People Are
We started going back to church a few weeks ago. It's been a little different sitting in the back in case we need to make a quick escape in the middle of the service. For the most part though Chloe has been very well-behaved especially during the worship music times. We think it's because during pregnancy, we always sat in the front where the music was blaring, so Chloe is used to these sounds.
Take it for what it is, but Chloe is always the most fidgity during the sermon time.
We've appreciated the opportunity to be back at church, and to be surrounded by community once again. Yesterday after church we spent the afternoon with our good friends Chris and Megan who are moving to D.C. for grad school. Several people from FEFC showed up to load all their belongings into a U-haul and help clean their house. Though it was a sad time eventually having to say goodbye, it was a sweet time of fellowship just being able to be around them. When we first started coming to our community group, Chris and Megan made us feel very welcome and loved. They will certainly be missed.
