If you haven't watched the above video, I encourage you to click-through and listen to what Pastor Matt Chandler has to say about what it means for God to be enough as he and his family prepare for him to go into surgery to remove a tumor in his brain. The video demonstrates his care and love for his congregation, as well as what it means to walk in faith in good and in bad times.

Last night I woke up in a cold sweat, my heart pounding through my chest. I had had a dream that Carolyn and I were moving across the country. We had packed up all our most valuable possessions in our Camry and were driving to a new city. At one point, we stopped to buy supplies and as we walked in the store, I realized I left something in the car. I walked back out to the car to realize that the car had been broken into, ransacked and all of our irreplaceable things had been stolen. At this point I woke up, and for two hours I couldn't fall back asleep! Even though it was a dream, I think the sleeplessness that followed really revealed that my heart was so troubled at the thought of losing these material things. It wasn't until Carolyn woke up and prayed with me that I was able to quiet my heart down enough to get a couple more hours of sleep. I realize I truly need to live out what I say. That is, if God is truly enough, that that would be true for me no matter what happens in life, and that I pray that I could praise God even when times are bad.
