Yet Another Wedding in Houston
Last weekend, the Su's could be found rocking out at some swanky wedding reception in Houston. We were at a wedding for Jon and Eve, with whom Carolyn went to high school with Jon. I was slightly surprised as I ended up knowing a lot more people there than I thought. Many of whom had come to our own wedding as well.
I think weddings usually bring about a broad spectrum of emotions... I think of the single guy who goes to a wedding wondering when the heck it will be his turn... or the grandparents who reminisce about the time they got married and the life that is to come for the newlyweds. For us we left the wedding feeling thankful. We are thankful for friends around us, especially as we move into another new stage in life. We are also thankful to God that He continues to strengthen and cultivate our marriage one-and-a-half years into it.
