My 15 pixels of fame... on Engadget.
I read Engadget on a pretty regular basis. It's a good tech blog for keeping up with the latest computer, cell phones and technology. On Saturday morning I get this email from my friend Nick Taylor with the subject line:
"Holy crap you're on Engadget!"
At first I think it's a joke, or something directed towards a big group of people-- like news that the University of Texas is getting a new giant laser that can burn a hole through a car. I dunno. But when I open the email and there's a screenshot of Engadget and my Google profile pic is there in all its pink-shirt-glory.
I started laughing once I saw it. Can't see it? Exactly why I missed it while reading Engadget last week! So tiny! I had read this article the day it was published! But only after Nick pointed it out did I see myself in the picture. There I am, right next to The Man and Eric Ahn on Google Wave.

In playing around with Google's latest web toy, The Man set up a "Wave" and invited his friend Paul Miller whom he goes to church with. This guy writes for Engadget, and had taken a screenshot of his Google Wave to demonstrate the software. Kinda cool, but not as cool as my friend Chris Schreck who ended up on Slashdot.org a few weeks ago.
