Hare-brained Ideas
I would say today was a good day, research-wise. We had a visiting clinical researcher in the lab today. He was talking with my professor for most of the time, so I poked my head in to say hi since I had been collaborating with his lab for the last year or so. My prof asked me to give a "2 second" description on what I was working on regarding coronary stents. Since this guy was a clinician, he had a lot to say on stents. I told him about one of my crazy ideas and my professor quietly said, "oh! hmm!" I hadn't told him about the idea yet, but I guess it was good that he approved of it.
It's nice to be affirmed every once in a while for what you're working on.
Let's just hope that my idea works.
