New Webhost
After 4 years of fantastic service, my web host is kicking the bucket. I found out last week that they had been under new ownership, and then I had to email them to find out they were going out they were going out of business. Had I not emailed, the site would have gone dead by itself. Argh.
So I spent some time on the interwebs searching for good web hosting companies. Eventually came across Arvixe.com which had some mixed reviews but overall seemed dependable. Switched everything over last night and killed the old account. The transfer seemed to go over without a hitch since all I had to do was copy the web files over with FTP and then re-connect the MySQL servers to the Joomla! software. Hopefully there will be no unexpected hiccups.
