Saw this on Gizmodo today. This graphic from the New York Times shows sales figures of music in its different forms starting 1973 with the advent of vinyl LPs and 8-track tapes. It really goes to show you how much music sales have dropped since the digital age. While iTunes might be doing well, it really doesn't compare to the heyday of CDs. The graph shows compact disc sales peaking around 1999, right around the introduction of Napster...
