Evony Online Ads
If you've spent anytime on the internets, you've probably come across ads for a game called "Evony Online". The Evony wikipedia page describes the game as having "substantial simliarities (read: rip-off) to Civilization", the classic PC computer game. The ads show a big breasted woman and the subtitle, "Free!" and "Play discretely at work!" Their ads have started showing up almost everywhere online including news sites which made me wonder how they had money for advertising if the game was free.
So I googled "Evony" only to find that it is probably one of the most hated games on the internet with the most rock-bottom ads bringing new meaning to the term "sex sells". Makes me laugh, but also makes me realize that if I want to play Civilization, I'll just play Civilization.
