Since joining Twitter over two months ago, I've found it to be a pretty useful tool to get little mini-updates from friends. I've also noticed that different people use Twitter in different ways, a point shared by my Twitter friend @powpow who tweeted:

"Interesting to see how people use their Twitter accounts differently"

I totally agree. While many use Twitter as a personal micro-blog to say what their doing at any point of the day (like @ch33symac "standing waiting for graduation to start so i can sit down for the next 2 hours"), there are many others who post links to interesting news articles that they see (@irunfortheglory "Tupac is alive!!! http://tinyurl.com/czu5bf"). I've noticed people who share philosophical questions with others, and others who blog through what they're watching on tv and sort of talking to celebrities (@benryyip "LeBron, I hate you").

I feel that the Twitter-verse is still figuring out what to do with this tool but everyone is slowly finding ways to make it useful. It reminds me of a shirt that I saw recently:

"The messaging system we didn't know we needed until we had it". I think that pretty much sums it up:)
