Twitter-er
I'm trying out Twitter these days. It's a pretty well-polished
service. I started using it because our lab was talking about ways
to communicate to each other about our research findings quickly
and concisely. But I then started seeing more of what people were
using it for. The idea of having a microblog that details things
that might come up in your head during the day is pretty
interesting. I'm enjoying it but I'm noticing that I don't know
very many people on it. So far I've got 10 people in my Twitter
list.
The news was right when they said that a lot of celebrities are on
Twitter. Jimmy Fallon mentioned it on his show last week. Obama
used it in his campaign (and still does). And I also found Levar
Burton on here... but you don't have to take my word for it.
