Jason Mraz - Recorded Live at Java Joe'sTiffany told me about this CD last night so I've been listening to it all day at work today. It's got like the perfect mix of jazz and folk and acoustic for me. Pretty relaxing for me while at work, or while I was driving around in the car. At first the songs weren't familiar to me but I remember hearing a few of them on the radio.

The music sort of reminds me of Shane and Shane, but it's hard to compare the two, because one of them usually brings out a worshipful experience for me. And just to clarify, it's when listening to Shane and Shane. But in terms of guitar skills, both artists are very gifted. I enjoy listening to the little nuances in Jason Mraz's guitar playing. Fun stuff. Check it out if you can. If you don't want the whole CD, 99 pennies on iTunes makes for cheap music. I particularly enjoy tracks 5, 6, and 7.

In work related news, I finished my poster today for my next conference. I just have to go to print it out on Monday and then I'll be good to go. I'm excited... not necessarily for the conference itself (although that should be a good academic endeavor), but because I'll get to see some Hopkins buddies afterwards.

Okay, time to go rent Hitch and watch it with Janice.
