My Big Mouth
When I bought my car over 6 years ago, premium gas cost around
$1.30 per gallon. This summer, I paid over $4.00 per gallon. As
prices began to drop this fall, I expressed my surprise at how much
gas prices were dropping but at the same time I've skeptical at
how far they could really drop. One day while driving with Carolyn
and Gloria, I said aloud to them:
"If premium gas prices ever drop back down to $1.30 per gallon,
I will eat my poo."
Today I read that crude oil has dropped another $5 to just above
$40/barrel, and that the average cost for premium is around $1.70.
Seems I might have to eat my words (literally).
