Working for the Weekend
Ah, the end of a long week. This week I was pretty productive, completing five whole experiments this week. Usually in a given week, I complete 1 or 2. It helped that no one else needed the equipment this week and it also helped that I was in the lab past 2am on two separate occasions. It's weeks like this the weekend is a slight breath of fresh air.
Tomorrow though will be a crazy one as we move the big items from Carolyn's current apartment into Dana Duplex where we will live together after we're married. Why is it called Dana Duplex? Well, because it's a duplex, and it's on a street called Dana. Of course, it helps that Dana is a nice sounding name, because if our home were on Slaughter Lane I wouldn't be calling it the "Slaughter House".
But yes, there is a street in Austin called Slaughter.
