This past weekend, what originally was thought to be a contingent of 2 or 3 friends helping us stuff invitations became quite large, rivaling the production of a small sweatshop.

We had 10 people show up to help us stuff invitations, stamp postage and lick-seal envelopes. I previously envisioned that I would be sitting down with everyone assembling the invitations, but I went out to grill burgers in the backyard for 20 minutes. When I returned everyone was done and eagerly awaiting the backyard burgers. I didn't even get a chance to see what the assembled invitation looked like!

Either way, it was fun hanging out with everyone, and enjoying lunch together. We would have been ready at that point to send out the invites, but I had a slight problem with the label printing, and so we weren't able to label the envelopes that day. Carolyn and I were able to figure everything out this weekend and so the first batch of invites were sent out today.

Thanks to everyone who came by, even if you arrived after everyone had finished working. I hope you enjoyed the burgers. Feel free to always come by for food:)
