Cross Talk
Thanks to those who came out to hear my talk at Austin Chinese Church last Friday. Though I wished I had had more time to prepare, I was encouraged to hear that people took to heart what was said. Praise God that He is the one who speaks to our hearts and convicts us. I was so blessed that some ECHO students came out to hear me speak as well, especially since I was speaking on a Friday evening.
There were about 20 people there. Though many had already taken off for Dallas, those present seemed to be receptive to what I had to say. We had a bunch of copies of The Cross Centered Life to pass out which people seemed to enjoy (who wouldn't love free books!). We have about 10 books left, so if anyone wants one/some let me know.
Afterwards, the ECHO groupie went out for Amy's Ice Cream where we were given odd group discounts, Zach was called "Charlie Brown", and we listened to Michael Jackson while we enjoyed our ice cream. Can't complain there. Good times.
