So after seeing the Crate and Barrel charging station from our registry, I decided that I was going to make my own box with holes. I mean, how hard can it be? It's actually kinda hard. I'm not very handy with wood, but I gave it my best effort (actually, not true, because I started making another one today and it looks better than this one).

This box contains a surge protector inside with the three chargers that you see plugged in. There is room for 1 or 2 more chargers, but those are the three main ones I use on a daily basis. The other chargers that I have only come out occasionally to play.

My Ghetto Charging Station

Feel free to dog my handywork, but I don't see you sporting a homemade wood charging valet:)

Total cost of materials: $4.50

ohhh...now i get it... ricky was deep in thought yesterday as we waited at the doctor's office, and he said it was about what a charging box would look like if we had one for our house. we tallied up all the things we charge on a regular basis, and i was surprised by how much stuff there is!

yeah, i actually made another one this week. it's a little bigger and has a little more rooms for those big adapters and such. I'll post some pics when it's completely done. I plan on wood staining it when I get a chance.
