Invitation Assembling
Carolyn and I spent a good chunk of time
assembling save the dates last night. After working for a few hours
printing labels, tracking down addresses, re-printing mis-typed
labels, we finished... less than 10% of them.
I think we need some help with this stuff. It is a bit overwhelming
trying to put together 200 invitations to families and friends. In
fact, I found myself getting pretty frustrated last night at the
sheer amount of work that I needed to do. By the end of the evening
I was ready to punch a dog in the throat. I had hoped that we would
finish last night when in fact we still have much to do. Anyone out
there want to help assemble with us? You can get a behind the
scenes sneak peek at our highly secretive save-the-date invites. Oh
and we can feed you too.

Oh gosh, labels drive me nuts. I was impressed by how centered you were able to get the addresses. My printer feeder is not very good. Just ask Ricky how many sheets I've wasted in preparation for baby announcements.
By the way, if you need help with more assembly or other wedding stuff in the next 2-3 weeks (depending on baby Tam), let us know. We're usually free on Mon/Tues/Thurs. I'm a wicked fast bow-tie-er, and Ricky is all over that really detailed everything lines up straight business.
For our save-the-dates, I remember I had my mom cut out magnets for hours to glue to the backs. Poor thing. But she did think the paper cutter tool was pretty cool =)
the magnet is cool
