So last week, I mailed my busted up 500GB hard drive back to Seagate under warranty. One of the great things about Seagate is that they have a 5 year warranty, compared to other brands that have 3 years or less. Anyways, I recieved the replacement drive in the mail yesterday. Seagate, in their generosity (or lack of in-stock 500GB hard drives) sent me a 750GB drive.

Yay! I guess that is worth the trouble of having to deal with a broken hard drive. Fortunately I didn't have to lose any data.
