The Rain
I'm telling you, the rain always comes
when I wash my car.
My latest case-in-point. It's been a long time since I've washed
my car. Over the break, the weather has been phenomenal but I've
been busy and/or out-of-town so I haven't been able to spend time
washing my car. Believe it or not, washing the car is actually a
pretty low priority for me.
So finally on Sunday I find myself with a free afternoon and so I
decided to wash the car. However, beforehand I checked the 15 day
forecast to make sure that I wouldn't be washing in vain.
Weather.com reports no rain until day nine. Days 1-8: sunny and
partly cloudy. Perfect!
I wash the car, and the car looks clean for the first time in over
a month.
The next day, Monday, I checked the weather, and the forecast has
changed. Now it is reporting rain on Wednesday. Dang it. At least
I'll have two more days of clear car.
Then Monday night, it rained. Last night, it rained. And there was
actually no rain on Wednesday. Now the weather is forecasting a lot
of rain tomorrow as well.
Any farmers out there need rain? Just tell me to wash my car:)
