The Big Apple
I'm in New York City for a few days.
There's a conference here that starts on Sunday and lasts till
Wednesday. Carolyn came and is staying at her friend's place while
I am staying with Tim (a.k.a. The Man). The has been such a
blessing for me. It's been close to a year and a half since I've
seen my closest friends, and just being with them has reminded me
of how I took my college years for granted when we all lived within
a 10 minute walk from each other.
Last night we went to Carmine's for dinner and then hit up Cafe
Mozart's for dessert. Afterwards, we still hadn't had enough of
each other so we just walked over to a local Starbucks and hung out
for another hour or so. Today is yet another day of hanging out.
Hopefully I won't be too tired to attend the actual conference
tomorrow:)
