Last week I went to Fry's to buy "The Orange Box", a compilation of Half-Life 2 games including the newest one, Episode 2. When I opened it, there was no activation key inside! Without a key, the DVD's are worthless. I took it back to Fry's where the manager basically told me to get lost saying there was "nothing she could do". I thought I had just wasted $40. However, I sent an email to Valve, the manufacturer, telling them my situation.

First thing Monday morning, I receive an email from Valve support saying that they had added game to my digital Steam account. Woohoo! Now if only I didn't have an exam on Tuesday, I would have been up playing it all night. Well, maybe.
