So I've actually finalized a switch to another research lab at UT. Although I've been in the same lab for 3 years now researching biomechanics, I felt that it was time for a change. Starting next week, I'll be in a new lab doing research in biomedical imaging. Yes, I know... it's completely different from biomechanics. But it's something that I'm becoming more interested in lately. So what does this mean for me in terms of school?

Well, it looks like I will have to be here a little longer than I originally planned, but it seems I will enjoy the work I am doing, so that is okay. I'm a little sad to leave my current lab, especially since I've developed friendships over the last couple of years there, but I keep reminding myself that I am only moving across campus rather than across the country.

Anyways, that's my big news.
