There's nothing like falling asleep at 6pm in the evening, especially when you know you have to stay awake so that you can get over some horrible jet lag. Fortunately for me, I was still able to sleep 7 hours last night despite a two hour nap at 6pm. When I got to Taiwan, it took me an entire week to get over jet lag. We would go to sleep at midnight and be wide awake at 4am! However, having only been back in Austin for two days now, I'm doing a lot better with my sleep schedule. Part of it I think was due to the fact that coming back home, I only slept for 2.5 hours out of the 28 hours beginning with when I woke up the day we were to come home. Since then, I've been in various states of sleepiness but managed to still do the work that I need to do during the day.

In the end though, I think my jet lag is under control today. I'm heading to Houston for the weekend, but I'll be back in time for ECHO on Sunday.
