A few months ago I loaned out an old film camera that I had found around the house to my friend, Fatima. Since I take only digital pictures, I had no use for the camera yet I was still interested in seeing what pictures were left on the roll of film. After she finished the roll, she returned the pictures that were on the roll. What I found was quite dear to me. There were four pictures on the roll that were taken my freshman year in college when my dad and my grandparents came to visit me. These pictures had never been developed and had been sitting in a cupboard for over 9 years! The film was rather old, and so the color in the dye had begun to fade. I scanned the pictures into the computer and tried to somewhat reproduce the original color. Though not perfect, the new pictures look a lot better than the original. I will try to scan the photos in a better resolution next time so that the pictures turn out even better.
