Not Monday
For some reason today felt like a Monday. Maybe because the actual Monday flew by so fast, or because I spent some time catching up on some stuff from the weekend today. Yesterday I ran some data collection experiment for a violinist from the Music department here at UT. She wanted to collect some motion capture data of her playing her violin with a certain technique. Not sure exactly what it was about, but she seemed pretty excited about it. They're installing sprinkler systems here in Belmont right now, so all our equipment had been packed up and stored away last week. I came in on Sunday to unpack and set things up. Conducted the experiment on Monday, and then repacked everything back up again that afternoon. Suffice it to say, I didn't get much other stuff done that day.
I went into work today and already there were a lot of things to take care of in the lab. It wasn't bad because it meant that the day just flew by for me. I came home and also stayed busy with a few things. I read some excellent material in preparation for my bible study tomorrow, went out for a productive run for the first time since Saturday's 5k, and talked on the phone with a friend for a little while.
I would have to say that life is good.
