Tapioca Run
My sister and I make late night runs to Tapioca House every once in a while. Sometimes you're just craving that taste of milk tea and tapioca balls in your mouth right? Anyways, lately we've been noticing that Tapioca House is usually out of tapioca whenever we get there. What that usually means is that we leave without getting any milk tea, or that Janice gets something non-tapioca related. But tonight, we did things a little differently.
After we were told that they were out of tapioca, we simply went next door to Coco's, and ordered a small serving of tapioca balls. It costs $0.50 and came in a little plastic container usually used to hold sauce from take-out places. Anyways, we then walked back to Tapioca House and ordered a plain milk tea, with which we asked them to dump the tapioca balls in before they sealed it up in that awesome cup sealing machine they've got. While it ended up costing a little more money, and a little more time, it thus solved the problem of Tapioca House running out of tapioca (which really, in my mind is similar to KFC running out of chicken).
FAQ: Why didn't you just get milk tea from Coco's?
I like the milk tea at Tapioca House better. Coco's tea tastes crazy sweet.
Whose idea was this?
The credit would have to go to my sister for this ingenious plan.
Did you really write a whole blog entry just about pearl milk tea?
