Sunday afternoon, I was finally able to see Batman Begins. After weeks
of people hyping it up I had been wanting to see it, but there was a
decreasing supply of people who hadn't seen it yet. Fortunately,
Winston Woo was still one of those people. The two of us went to see it
after church at the Gateway theaters. We walked in and it was freakin'
packed! We ended up having to sit in the 2nd front row. I don't think I
even got a clear view of the scenes at some points. But still, it was
an excellent movie. Definitely worthy of the Batman franchise. I
wouldn't mind seeing it again though, this time in a better row.
I also watched "The Italian Job" with my fam the night before on DVD.
Fry's was selling the widescreen DVD for $6.99 so I thought, "why not?"
At $7, it's definitely cheaper than going out to the movies for 4
people, only slightly more than a Blockbuster rental and you get to
keep the movie afterwards:) I had seen the movie before, but it was
still good. Almost makes me want to get a Mini Cooper. ALMOST, but not
really.
