Haha, it only took one day for me to go back to getting no sleep. Oh well, it was nice while it lasted.

I went to bed last night around 1:00am, and had to wake up at 4:30am this morning to take my family to the airport. Got home around 5:30 and took a nap for about an hour before getting back up to get ready for school. I met Jonathan at Einstein's for breakfast and then went to the lab.

Around lunch time I realized that no one was home to let the dog out. At that point I had been out about 6 hours, so I rushed home to take care of the dog. He's been left alone before for 8 hours, but how'd you like it if you had to hold your pee for that long? Anyways, I worked from home the rest of the day, but I finally conked out and took a nap. When I woke up, I thought I had slept through the night and that it was morning. Good sleep though.

Tonight I made dinner for the small group boys. On the menu: sirloin steak on the grill, potatoes au gratin, and boiled asparagus with drizzled butter. Yes... I can make food. I grilled the steak medium rare, although some of it turned out closer to rare. It turned out well though, the Stubb's marinade worked pretty well I thought. I'll have to use it again some other time. The other stuff was pretty easy, I thought it was funny when Kyle asks, "What are these green things?" I didn't know how to respond except to say, "um... asparagus. They're good, but they make your pee smell funny." Probably not the best enticing description if you want someone to try something new. Oops.

Again, I forgot to take pictures. Argh.
