So I've been running with this Nike/iPod thingy for a few days now and I must say, I'm pretty impressed. I like it a lot and it helps me keep track of time and distance during my runs. It's been a good tool to help me stay motivated while working out. While I'm not super good at running, I do notice myself getting faster and stronger. I'm running a 5k at the end of the month. My goal is to finish under 30 minutes. The 5k I ran at church about 6 weeks ago was a 33 minute finish. Oh yeah, the nike transducer is about 10% off, in terms of accuracy. I need to recalibrate. (Those three runs at the very beginning are calibration runs.)

Ricky and I have a challenge set up on the nikeplus.com website and we're looking for others to join up. So far, I think two other people are going to join it once they set up their nikeplus accounts. If you want to join, let us know.
