Sausages on Fire
Dang it, I know.. this post would be much better with pictures. Although nothing was on fire, per se.
Tonight my small group came over a little bit earlier before bible study and we grilled some brats out in the backyard for dinner. It was quite the man-fest here. Kyle came and started tending the meat on the fire. I bought 3 packages of brats and some hot dogs. He managed all the sausage pretty well. David started cutting up some bell peppers to grill. I've never grilled bell peppers before but I wanted to try it. Zach brought some potato salad, and he and Nick helped me bring stuff out from inside the house to the backyard.
Once the food was ready, we just sat out in the cool evening breeze just eating brats and drinking Cokes. Nothing like hanging out with the guys outside doing nothing. I think when I get old, I'm gonna invite my friend over often and we're just gonna sit on the front porch in our rocking chairs doing nothing. Yeah. Pretty sweet.
