Finally got my spring break pictures put online. That took quite a while. Basically spent Saturday editing and processing pictures, and then had a bunch of trouble Sunday morning trying to get uploaded correctly on Facebook and Flickr. Special shout-out to Katie Drilling for spending over an hour tagging the pics on Facebook while the UT/USC game was going on. Check out the pics when you get a chance. Most of the pics are from the framing group since that's the group I worked with the most. We framed a whole house in a week, and got it ready for roofing and bricking. Pretty sweet if you ask me.

I liked framing stuff up since we got to see the progression of this house go from a concrete slab to full walls with windows and doors. It also gave me a feel for working in a group on a big project like this. I don't think I often get to work on a project like this where everyone is on the same level and working equally on it at the same time. Usually when we work on cars, the work is slow because only one or two people can actually work on something at any given time, so other people are just standing around idly waiting to get in on the action. But the house building had everyone working continuously. Actually, I probably did the least amount of work since I stopped every once in a while to take pictures.
