Oh snap.
I left some stuff running on my computer last night, which I usually do when I leave the lab. That way the data is all processed/generated by the time I get back in the next morning. However, this morning things were a little different. I came in and found that my computer was turned off. It's happened before, just with weird power outages or what have you here in Belmont Hall. However, the difference this time was that it wouldn't turn back on.
I opened it up and tried to test a few things. I've never had a computer problem that I couldn't fix, until today. I've narrowed it down to possibly the power supply, but I'm not sure. I don't have a spare P4 power supply lying around that I can test it with, so I think I am out of luck today. It's alright. It kinda gives me a chance to get a breather and take care of some other things that need to be worked on.
I called UT tech support. Hopefully this gets fixed by tomorrow though, because I've got a big deadline coming up in about 1.5 weeks.
