Don't ask me how it got started, but today might as well be called "Taiwanese Pride Day". I was at ACC John Sung this afternoon for some more renovation goodness, and we just started talking about all the great things about Taiwan, Taiwanese people, and Taiwanese food. We started talking about all these Taiwanese phrases... even Ricky got in on the action with his "bung-sie" speak. At one point Jocelin, Christina, Scott, Moses and I were around the back table with Winston. Jocelin then mentions to Winston that he's surrounded by 5 Taiwanese people... and Winston decides to move over to where Ricky is sitting in order to increase the Cantonese concentration.

I'm sure that's how discrimination starts, people.

Anyways, then later at Peylin's birthday party, we just naturally continue our Taiwanese conversations. Mostly about food (like furry pork, fruits and dumpling shops in Taipei), but still, our side of the table was heavily dominated by Taiwan talk. Not that I'm complaining of course:)
