Airplanes
Flew into California today. Flying across two time zones is quite a long affair. That coupled with the whole "no liquids over 3 ounces past the security checkpoint" kinda made everything really long and drawn out. Because of that TSA rule, everyone seemed to want to check their luggage instead. I had to wait 45 minutes for my luggage to come out onto the luggage carosel. Many times I thought my luggage had gotten somewhere en route. That would have been very bad for me. Fortunately, that wasn't the case.
Got the rental car, and headed out onto crazy California highways. I had my trusty GPS device which did a great job navigating me through the streets and to my friend Danny's house. We went out for dinner at this Hawaiian restaurant, where we talked cars at length. Danny is another one of my friends who knows way more about cars than I do. Fun stuff. We came back to his place where his roommate had returned from work and the three of us just chilled here for the evening.
Not much planned for tomorrow. I actually have to do some work tomorrow. Dang. That doesn't seem cool. That's cuz it ain't.
