Any Old Day
I was trying to write a post about something a few days ago. Both times the website wouldn't let me publish it. I'll take it as a sign that maybe now is not the time for it. Maybe I'll write about it later. Don't worry, it's nothing bad.
Today though was just an ordinary day for me. I feel like a lot of stuff happened, but really it was actually kinda boring. Took my mom's car to get inspected. That took a good chunk of the morning, but I was able to just sit down at Starbucks for a good hour and read. That hasn't happened in a while. Drove over to campus and the day was pretty much uneventful. Fortunately I got to interact with people throughout the day which helped pass the time I was in the lab. I have to say, I really enjoy the people in my lab. We have good times together. Throughout the day we're always cracking jokes, or talking about sports, or just helping one another out with research, school work, what have you. Usually we go out and have lunch across the street, which is pretty sweet. Again, it helps that we all get along with each other.
Right now we've got a lab pool going on for Jason's soon-to-be born son. The delivery date is supposed to be 12/18, but Jason's wife started having contractions towards the end of November. Now I'm no expert on babies, but according to tv and movies, contractions means that you're getting close to labor. So I predicted 12/2. That never happened. And by the looks of it, she might actually have the kid on the 18th. Seems like an awfully long time to be having contractions. But again, what do I know?
