The Don Juan
After church today we went to Juan in a
Million for lunch. Lemme just say I love this place. Probably the
best hole in the wall restaurant here in Austin. It's super cheap
here and everytime I've been here it's always crowded. But I keep
coming back and everytime I always order the same thing:
The Don Juan.
It's described as "a secret combination of potato, egg, bacon and
cheese in a deliciously hot tortilla". Don't let the low-res
picture fool you. That's a regular sized tortilla that all that
stuff is sitting on and the actual Don Juan is stacked higher and
covers the plate so that you can't even see the tortilla. In fact,
I ordered three extra tortillas so that I had enough to wrap the
stuff in. Some people in our group weren't able to finish the
whole thing (read: Pastor Matt). This thing is just so big and so
filling that it's unbelievable. But the most remarkable thing
about it is that it only costs $3.25. Lunch for me was less than $5
today. That rarely happens.
