Double Bummer

I went to the Texas/A&M game yesterday. It was thought that Texas would blow A&M out of the water. Apparently, that was not the case. Both defenses were really good, which kept the score low for pretty much the entire game. But A&M kept running a pretty tight option and ended up destroying us on 3rd down conversions.
I know many people are going to blame it on the referee's who made at least half a dozen blatantly crappy calls. Personally, I wasn't happy with the officiating at all, but our offense could have been a whole lot better than it actually was.
(The other "bummer" is that we may not make the Big XII championship now, unless OSU (Oklahoma State) loses tomorrow to OU. Oh well, there's always next year.)
Otherwise, it was a good game day. Hung out with some buddies,
beautiful weather... also got to meet up with Alex for breakfast at
Kerbey Lane right before the game.
I also saw 007 Casino Royale tonight. Good movie. One of the top
007 movies for me alongside with Dr. No, Tomorrow Never Dies and
Moonraker.
