Oof, I can't do late night studying anymore. It's about 12:30am right now and I just got home from school. Thankfully I haven't been at school all day. I left for school around 9:30pm when I found out that I needed the school lab computers to finish my coding project. But yeah, staying up past midnight to study school stuff is really a thing of the past for me.

Many of you will remember that back in the day when I was at Hopkins I would stay up till around 2am studying, EVERY NIGHT! Hanging out at MSE with Paul, Tim and others, we would just sit there and study with the frequent joking about whatever would come to mind.

The truth is, I would have stayed up longer had the MSE library been open longer. The Hopkins library was fully open until 12am every night, and then afterwards certain floors would be closed and only a few floors would stay open until 2:00am. We would always stay on the 2am floors, of course. The surprising thing then was that I barely drank coffee then. I would drink one every once in a while when I really needed it, but nowhere close to the 1-2 cups that I have everyday now.

Maybe it's because I don't really have anyone to study with that I can't stay up late anymore for school. If the boys were still around I think we'd be doing the 2am or later thing every night still. Either way, I made some good progress tonight. I should be able to finish my project tomorrow during the day and then not have to stay up super late again tomorrow.
