Independence Day Boating
Soooo exhausted right now. Just got back from a boating trip out on Lake Travis this morning. We met at Carlos n' Charlie's around 8:45 and went out on the lake for about 3 hours. Chris and Truman brought their boats and everyone also chipped in for another pontoon boat. Being the non-watersports person that I am, I hung out on the pontoon and had a pretty relaxing day. Swam around, soaked up some sun. Pretty soon it was already time to return the pontoon. Oh yeah this kid, Michael, and I were the only ones who ate these donuts after they fell onto the lake water drenched floor. His dad cited the 5 second rule and you know that that rule is totally valid.
Lunch was at Carlos n' Charlie's. Good stuff. I had the oyster po'boy. Not as good as the genuine article, but still pretty good.
Tonight: potluck and fireworks. nice.
