Something kinda cool... one of the Kinesiology profs came into our lab
today and said that CNN and K-Eye News were going to be around
the labs tomorrow to do a segment on Lance Armstrong. He said that
K-eye wanted to get some feature footage on some cycling experiments
from our department. They asked us to set up some sort of mock
experiment tomorrow so that they could film someone on the exercise
bike hooked up with all the EMG and video markers. Apparently the
Kinesiology dept did some data collection on Lance Armstrong when he
was 22 years old. The prof was saying that he wanted to get him back in
here to see how his overall health has changed since he was that age.
So even though I'm not involved with the cycling experiments, I guess
it's still kinda cool to get this kind of publicity for the department.
Even though I'll be in the lab during the filming, don't count on
seeing me on tv though. Maybe I'll be the anonymous guy that just walks
by in the background... if I'm lucky. haha:)
Alright, off to Barnes and Nobles to study for the rest of the night...
