Starbucks Price Increase:(
If you've visited Starbucks in the last
week or so, you've probably realized the slight increase in drink
prices. I haven't been going as much lately since I've got some
coffee beans at home for my french press. It feels good saving $3-4
each time I make my own coffee. But still, occassionally I've got
to visit the ol' SB shop. This usually happens in the afternoon
when I need a small pick-me-up. Or in the mornings when I'm too
lazy to make my own coffee, but still have a few minutes to stop by
the Starbucks on Enfield and San Antonio St.
Anyways, my Grande Caramel Macchiato usually costs $3.90. But the
other day it was a whopping $3.95!!!!! I asked the lady behind the
counter what was going on. She said that every drink went up a
nickel. "Kinda lame", she said. Whoa. Getting awfully close to that
$4 mark. I might have to cut back even more on my visits to the
coffee shop.
