Rain! On Tuesday?????
Man. The weather man was totally wrong
this week. The forecast said it wouldn't rain till Wednesday which
would have given me one more day to enjoy the nice wax job on the
car. Unfortunately, I woke up to a wet (but nicely beaded water
droplets) car, and wet streets which meant dirty water everywhere.
And now, it is pouring like there's no tomorrow. I will say though
that after driving to school, the water beads that were on the car
had easily just rolled off during the drive and the car looked dry
on the waxed surfaces. The only part of the car that looked wet was
the rear bumper which I didn't wax on Saturday. Once again, the
awesomeness that is Meguiar's NXT wax shines through.
I came back from class and got caught in the torrential downpour
walking outside. I had to stop a few hundred meters away from my
lab and seek shelter in a covered pavilion for a few minutes before
I sprinted to the stadium building. Now I'm just in the lab with
shoes and socks off, pants rolled up, trying to dry off before I
have to leave in another two hours.
