My church, EV Free, is embarking on a new building project for our current plot of land. The project calls for two new buildings to be built next to the existing buildings in order to provide more space for the children's nursery as well as for the youth group. Yesterday they showed a video in church detailing the buildings, and also the plans for how the money would be raised. Overall, I am pretty excited about all of this. Pastor Rob has made it a point to encourage everyone to be in prayer for this lofty project. Historically, the church has seen so many amazing things happen when it has needed to raise money. At one point in time when the church was looking to buy land at a different location in Austin, a couple visiting the church for the second time offered to pay the rest of the money that the church needed to raise. That difference was $50,000! When the church was looking to buy the land that we are currently on, there was a donation made from the local businesses to help us build our parking lot in order so that their employees could have some place to park during the week.The parking lot cost about  $750,000 to build. God has been faithful to this church, and I am excited to see more things happen during the time.
