Crazy Friday
Well not really... I had plenty to do, but I didn't leave the building once today. Yeah, pretty sad. Showed up at work around 8am, and worked till around lunch time. Usually that's when I get to leave the building during the day. My lab co-workers and I usually go across the street to grab some lunch, but not today. There was a research talk being given on the 9th floor at noon so we went there instead. Though I missed lunch I enjoyed the talk. It was about some research in the CS department being done on training Sony Aibo robot dogs to play soccer. Pretty sweet stuff. A lot of programming algorithms and machine learning topics to make robot dogs play soccer against another robotic canine team. I enjoyed it. Anyways, because of that, I missed lunch and just went back to the lab to do more work. By the time 5pm came around I was really hungry and I realized just how famished I was. Going outside I also realized how hot the day had become outside. I shouldn't have stayed in the lab all day. But now I'm home, and I can breathe again.
