If I had things my way (oh, and I don't), I'd do only a fraction of the things that I have to do each week. I think my weekends wouldn't really change. I'd still work on cars with Wei on Saturdays; maybe also catch the latest football game on tv. Sundays would stay the same. I'd still go to ECHO, but I'd leave a lot more time to hang out with people afterwards. It's the work week that would really change.

I'd keep my TA job, because I really like that. It's not to say that I'm the most awesomest TA in the world, but I like what I do, and I like being able to help the students here. Hopefully I am getting better at it as the semester goes on. I'd also continue to meet up with people throughout the week. There are a handful of guys that I try to meet up regularly for meals or just hang out time, and for the most part, that has stayed pretty consistent. But I think I'd like classes and classwork to tone down a little bit. I would be happy with just taking one class a semester for the rest of my life. Learning is good, and when you get out of school, learning takes a little more effort since you're not constrained by the rigors of a school year.

Also, it's not that I dislike research, it's just that there are always sooo many things to do in the lab. By itself, it's a full time job with overtime hours. I'd probably like to do research that I can take my time on. You know, like maybe studying the growth patterns of grass. Or maybe the peeling of paint:) Okay, maybe not. But yeah, I'm just saying... I could live with a little less craziness in my life these days.

If you studied the growth pattern of grass while living in Tx, then you would have a more relaxed summer. :D
