Today was my first time to ever go to a UT football game, ever. Yes, up until today, I had never seen the Longhorns play in person at DKR. And come to think of it, the last year or two has been one of many "firsts". If you look back at previous posts, you'll see what I mean. Anyways, the game was pretty fun to watch. Being there with 80000 fans is a pretty unique experience. Except for the burning hot sun, everything was mind blowing.

However, I will say that there was only one thing that made the day completely worthwhile. It wasn't seeing the Longhorns play live. It wasn't the world's (3rd) largest jumbotron. It wasn't being with 80000 people decked out in burnt orange. Nor was the relief of seeing UT noob Colt McCoy perform well on his first game day.

It was Chuck Norris.

Yes. Chuck "roundhouse kick" Norris was on the field today at the University of Texas. No idea why he was there, but who cares. It's Chuck Norris: the epitome of all things manly. Chuck Norris ended up on the Godzillatron multiple times with much applause and cheering. As he was leaving, he walked by our section and gave the "hook-em" sign to everyone.

Did you know? Chuck Norris and Mr. T walked into a bar. The bar was instantly destroyed, as that level of awesome cannot be contained in one building.

OR, it takes Chuck Norris 20 minutes to watch 60 Minutes.
