Today after 15 hours of travel, Deanna and I made it to Munich. Friday morning was crazy in Austin. We got to the airport about an hour before our flight left. Since it was an international ticket, we couldn’t check in electronically and therefore had to get in line with the other paper ticket holders. Deanna was able to flag down a service rep who totally reprimanded us for not getting to the airport 2 hours before our flight. But she let us cut through line and took care of our tickets regardless.

Our flight to Dallas was uneventful, but left us with about 30 minutes before our flight boarded. Therefore we ran through the terminals at DFW. Finally when we got there we thought we were totally late, but found out that international flights actually board 45 minutes before the flight time. Got on, got settled in for a boring 9.5 hour flight to Frankfurt. We watched a few movies, played some Nintendo DS, talked a little, slept some. Finally, we were in Germany.

We still needed to catch a train that would take us 3-4 hours to Munich. However, AA had once again left us very little time between departures so we ran through the train station trying to find the right track that would take us to the right spot. In the end, we were able to get on the right train and set in for a 3 hour train ride.
